in Class 4A and qualified for finals
(the first time they have done so in their
3 trips to Waukee)
Finished 4th Runner-Up overall
** RCR has qualified for finals (being one of the top 6 scoring groups) at the last five competitions
they have attended.
Jan. 30 State Show Choir/Jazz Band Festival Division I Superior Rating (3rd year in a row)
Feb. 6 Mt. Pleasant Show Choir Invite Qualified for finals and finished second
runner up
Feb. 13 Keokuk Grand Champions for the first time in the
19 year history of the group (and as far
as I know any previous swing choir as
well). RCR also made a "clean sweep" of
the captions awards and won Best Show
Band, Best Choreography and Best Vocal
Sound.
